During the commissioning, we go through different checks by always following manufacturers recommendation. The HIU’s  will be balanced which will prevent flow rates issues and unnecessary running cost.

The HIUs will be set according to the design temperatures and flow rates. If this is not present, then our HIU specialists will set the DHW at a maximum temperature of 50°C, underfloor heating at 35°C and radiators system at 55°C while making sure the primary return temperature is at the lowest possible when HIUs are operating.

Tempering with HIUs is a killer to any distrcit heating schemes. This is why we support all manufacturers who have designed their HIUs in a way that you need to plug in a software in order to change any settings. With Mechanical HIUs such as SAV, we will stick a security seal to indentify any unauthorised tempering by either the end user or unprofessionals.

Once the project has been completed, we will produce a HIU commissioning certificate for each individual unit. This can be referred to back to in case of any issues in the future and to register the warranty.
