HIU SERVICE

HIU service is required to be carried out a yearly basis. At R&B London HIU Engineers we provide full HIU servicing to the highest standard by always following the manufacturers recommendations, BESA Standards and current regulations including Part L.

HIU REPAIR

We are a recommended contractor by many HIU manufacturers in the UK. We stock most common HIUs parts to achieve first time fix saving money to our customer by eliminating a second visit. All parts supplied are genuine parts bought from the manufacturers directly.

HIU REPLACEMENT

All our HIU installs come with 5 years warranty. Labour, materials, HIU, commissioning, filters, wiring and disposal of the old HIU are all included in our standard offers. We make sure we install HIUs of which the manufacturers/agents are based in the UK, are reputable companies and always stock parts in their depots.

Evinox Modusat HIU

We are equipped with the Evinox software to carry out servicing and repairs to these complex smart unit. Visual breakdown it’s not always enough specially if the issue is with the parameters. With the Evinox software our engineers will access the parameters setting, engineer’s mode and alarm list.

HIU COMMISSIONING

HIU commissioning is a crucial part after installing new HIUs as if not commissioned according to the current standards the residents will be subject to high energy bills, either poor or excessive heating/hot water and balancing issues in the communal system. All our engineers are trained to carry out HIU commissioning to the highest standards.

Thermal store

Thermal stores are sometimes fitted in a heat network systems to replace the HIUs. They store hot water at 60°C of which it heat will be transferred to either your hot water of heating but without mixing. They offer a higher hot water flow rate and have immersion (electric) heater installed, this will be used as another way to have hot water in case the communal plantroom it’s down.
